Our student population at Fisher-Mitchell is 252, with a staff of 14 classroom teachers, sharing a common goal of quality education for our students.     We are situated near the Kennebec River and the Bath Iron Works. Bath is a shipbuilding city. The Maine Maritime Museum is within walking distance of our school.     The Lower Kennebec Region School Unit (RSU 1) consists of eight schools, Dike-Newell, Fisher-Mitchell, Bath Middle School, Morse High School, Bath Regional Vocational Center, Phippsburg Elementary School, Woolwich Central School, and West Bath School.
