A PLAY FOR THANKSGIVING was performed by Mrs. Granger's Second Grade. It told the story of how Sarah Josepha Hale asked President Lincoln to make Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. Sarah Josepha Hale was the author of Mary Had A Little Lamb.
